Help Understanding Returning Veterans

Comments about Inside the Vietnam War DVD:
Being of the generation who saw many friends go to Viet Nam – some to die and some to return and not be understood or have problems readjusting to civilian life – this could be a valuable resource as the country again faces returning veterans. What happened to those who served in Viet Nam was a travesty. At least now everyone is realizing that anyone serving in a war in the military can return with wounds that aren't visable on the outside, and are providing some help. This movie gives a picture that this whole country needs to understand. These men risk their lives whether they die, return with physical injuries, or more psychological ones. They all need our support and thanks. As another documentary suggests who will stand and acknowledge our debt to them?

Comments about Inside the Vietnam War DVD:
My high school sweetheart was killed in Viet Nam.
I never could watch anything about the war as it was too much for me to handle, even after all these years. This video (watched on tv), was informative and not too terribly bloody, but enough was shown to show how horrible this war was. Like I did not already know personally.
Here is the miracle.
I saw my Daniel O'Donnell in the final minutes of the show. He looked peaceful and beautiful and alive. I can now remember him like that and not in the glass coffin I have always remembered.
Thank you.
