Doctors Paul Sereno and Brady Barr are on the trail of a massive 35-foot ancient crocodile! Herpetologist Brady Barr, inveterate croc lover, wants to know a lot more about where his favorite creature came from and how it evolved. To find the answers he seeks out paleontologist Paul Sereno, who is out in the desert in the process of unearthing an incredible example of a huge, ancient crocodile that went by the name of Sarcosuchus. This show, originally a National Geographic Explorer special, takes you with these scientists as they wrestle with crocodiles and get up-close-and-personal with a variety of ferocious reptiles.

Comments about Super Croc DVDÂ :
Fascinating detail about how a world-renowned paleontologist goes about recreating an extinct animal from the bones he finds. Also provides amazing info about the whole family of living crocodiles & alligators.
I would recommend also purchasing "When Crocs Ate Dinosaurs," a later program about Paul Sereno's continuing efforts to learn more about sarcosuchus & other prehistoric crocs. Paul involves many other experts in his search for enlightenment.
I never paid much attention to crocodilians except to lobby for their protection, but they are an intriguing, living window into the time of the dinosaurs.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
