How our DVDs and DVD-Rs Differ
Customers who purchase programs in the NG DVD-R Library will receive a non-interactive, play only disc. There is no chaptering information on these DVDs, but there are chapter marks approximately every five minutes, which make it easy to fast forward through a program. The DVD-R format provides the digital video and audio quality you expect from all of our DVDs.
NOTE: The NG DVD-R titles are not closed-captioned. We apologize for any inconvenience this limitation may cause.

DVD +R that plays without skipping!

Comments about Python Hunters: Season Three DVD-R:
Congratulations to Nat. Geo., I did have luck with playback for this title! Both DVD disks were formatted in DVD +R, with short chapters in the episodes, and all the episodes played completely! Why do I mention this? I have encountered several Nat Geo DVD titles formatted in DVD +R with long chapters in the episodes that when played, the player would skip to the next episode at end of one of the chapters. The episodes are supposed to play completely before advancing to the next episode!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
