Shane Untamed follows intrepid "one man band" producer, shooter, host, and adventurer Shane Reynolds—better known as "Shane O"—on a pilgrimage to the wildest places on earth. He's out to experience a world of wild animals and wild spaces that most of us only dream of seeing and, along the way, explore the people and cultures that call these incredible, and often remote, places home.
Shane teams up with experts who can help him come out of each adventure in one piece—from diving with whale sharks in Djibouti to rappelling a tepui in the rain forests of Guyana. Each episode takes viewers on the journey of a lifetime.

The DVD-R is a non-rewriteable digital format that is compatible with most commercial DVD players. The DVD-R format is created with MPEG2 Variable Bit Rate Compression with stereo sound.
How our DVDs and DVD-Rs Differ
Customers who purchase programs in the NG DVD-R Library will receive a non-interactive, play only disc. There is no chaptering information on these DVDs, but there are chapter marks approximately every five minutes, which make it easy to fast forward through a program. The DVD-R format provides the digital video and audio quality you expect from all of our DVDs.
