Loved, loved, loved the fit. Is great for traveling. Doesn't wrinkle and very comfortable. Can dress the pants up for night or dress down for biking or hiking.

I would not say that these pants suited me at all. I expected deep pockets, or with zippers given the advertisement that they offer secure sites for travel documents. Not true. They are small, not deep, not protected. Not what I need for traveling in the 3rd world.

The flare of the legs is also extreme and ugly, although I suppose that could be altered easily with a tailor.

However, overall I could not recommend these as there are better cheaper alternatives. I like the idea of buying from NatGeo, and supporting 3rd world artisans, but the articles need to be better. Also, shipping costs too high for the prices. :(

I think the thing I have realized when returning the pants yesterday was that ordering online in this situation was a mistake. I kept the top but between the shipping and handling to me and returning the pants with insurance, I spent about $21.00 in shipping charges. Won't be ordering anymore under these circumstances.

I was looking for something comfortable, with many pockets, easy wash & dry for travelling, but semi-stylish. I also wanted to support the people making these products, but these pants were just too "home made" looking with stiff material. Regretfully, I had to send them back.

This product is not true to size. The waist is very small, legs are very wide. They don't seem in proportion. I am a true size 2 and these size 4 pants are almost too tight in the waist and the legs are big on me. I will not buy paints again.

I have purchased several pairs of these pants in the past and been quite happy with the quality and type of the fabric. The latest two I ordered, however, were made of a completely different type of cotton, which is much too light, much too thin, and which shrinks excessively. I had to return them and can no longer recommend them. This is an update to the review entitled "Great pants."

I originally bought these pants for travel, but found them so comfortable that I now wear them regularly at home. For travel, they can be worn daily, as they wash and dry overnight, with any wrinkles gone in the morning. The cotton fabric enhances both the comfort and wearability.

I have now purchased six pairs, three in each color. The fit and versatility are all that I could ask for. These are great pants.

I was looking for a pair of light weight pants with lots of pockets that I could use for hiking. I ordered the beige pants and love them, so have now ordered the brown pants. I am between sizes, so ordered the larger size. They fit just fine with ample room to move around in for hiking, climbing,and even playing golf. If anything I'd love more pockets.

I love my Brown pair and decided to order the Khaki. I was so disappointed when I received a pant which was Carmel-Mustard colored. This is a color I would never have ordered. Unfortunately this is not the first time that I have ordered from National Geographic only to be disappointed when the product arrived and was not as described/pictured.
