PreCip is a lightweight, waterproof, and breathable nylon. Its major benefit is its barrier technology: A microporous polyurethane coating that has more and smaller pores per square inch than other high-tech rainwear. These holes are small enough to small water vapor molecules pass through, but not bigger raindrops. This means that sweat vapor can escape but weather can't get in.
