Many of the knitwear companies in Hawick can trace their history back to the late 1770s, when the first knitting machine was brought to this small town in the Scottish Borders. Hand-knitting traditions date back at least another 200 years. The Scottish company that makes this wool pullover is a relative newcomer at only 140 years old. The two-tone design features a bird’s-eye stitch for the body, with solid navy blue shoulders and elbow detail.
