The Oregon-based Pendleton Mill introduced their first patterned wool men's shirts more than 80 years ago—before that the options were grey, grey, and more grey. Unsurprisingly, the new color and pattern options were welcomed, and they've been in style ever since. Made with Umatilla wool, our washable wool trail shirt has a rugged, cabin-casual look that works just as well on hiking trails as it does sightseeing in town. Umatilla woolen is a versatile medium weight 100% virgin wool fabric that takes its name from Oregon’s Umatilla County, where Pendleton buys raw stock from local ranchers. Features ultra suede elbow patches, an open collar with a lined band, a buttoned chest pocket with a pencil slot, and a round tail.
