The Scottish Wool travel vest lives up to its name. I have worn it almost everywhere. It's comfortable when driving,and perfect for around the house when I don't feel like turning up the heat. It looks good enough that I had no qualms wearing it to school when the heating system was not working.

Don't understand the negative reviews. It fits right if you order the right size- I ordered my usual size and it was a perfect fit.

The vest is warm and comfortable and breathes, so it doesn't become uncomfortably hot as you move from outside cold to indoors. Highly recommended.

This is a warm and very comfortable vest with good and secure zipper pockets. Good looking enough to be worn out for a casual evening dining and going somewhere, yet a rugged travel vest as well. Bought this one over more traditional multi pocket travel vests which are just too casual and funky for business wear, this fits in nicely in any environment. Breathes - so is comfortable in a wide range of temperatures.

My husband saw this in the catalog and asked for it for Christmas. The styling was great as was the construction of the vest. But, it was cut like a square and had no fitting. It just hung on him-and he's a medium. It may fit better on a larger person. It was returned. Expected something better fitting for the price.
It would have been ideal for our "cold" weather.

It will likely be used 3 seasons. Just too warm during late spring and summer. Fits well and will be comfortable for travel and even more formal business meetings. I've not worn it yet as it's become too warm.

I gave this vest to my Son. He likes it so much he wears it for his long walks every day and plans to bring it on a cruise, which is the reason I bought it in the first place.

The only complaint I have about this vest is the lining. It does not breath well, if at all, so moisture cannot escape and I find myself sweating down the spine. I have a heavier wool vest that has a cotton lining and don't have this same problem. I suppose cotton would reduce the wind resistance however, making it a tradeoff, but one I'd prefer.
