Zip-out linings, water-resistant finishes, and pockets, pockets, pockets. These are all essential details in a good travel jacket, and our olive-green nylon Expedition Field Jacket fits the bill. With two front bellows pockets, two hand pockets, and two zippered security pockets on the front, plus a small zippered pouch pocket on the left sleeve, you’ll be able to stash all your essential gear. The plaid down lining zips out, making the jacket adaptable for warmer temperatures. And the inner waist drawstring customizes the fit while keeping cool air out.
Imported. 100% nylon shell. Down lining. Men's sizes M (42-44), L (46-48), XL (50-52).
I do a lot of nature photography and this jacket has many large pockets and quality construction should serve well in many weather conditions. Liner zips out so it should be good for three seasons. As i stated the fit is snug around the middle,I am not a large person but I wish it had a bit more room around the waist. Reading the size chart it appeared that medium would be my size but i needed to return it for a large. The lady at national Geographic was super pleasant and quickly got my exchange expedited quickly.
