Archaeologists have found evidence of gemstones being used for healing as far back at the fourth millennium B.C., in cultures from China to Sumeria to Greece. Each of the stones in this long strand plays a dynamic role in healing, according to believers. Blue lace agate, for example, brings grace and lightheartedness, while yellow-green prehnite is a talisman for the wearer. Also includes smoky quartz, carnelian, and apatite.
I was so excited when I found this necklace, as I'm always looking for necklaces with varying stones that are fastened with more than thread. This necklace is very "cheap" in person. Each stone has wire wrapped around it that sticks out and pokes. I was shocked at the low quality and sent it back.
