Comments about Women's Santiago Travel Boots:

These would be awesome if they didn't run small. I'm an 8.5 and 39s too small. Can't get 40. Company says they would provide National Geographic with correct size but National Geographic doesn't order from them regularly. I'm so disappointed, may try to get shoe repair to stretch, if I purchase directly for the maker, much more expensive. I recommend them but go up a size no matter what.

Comments about Women's Santiago Travel Boots:

Since I moved to S. Korea in the spring time, I had only brought with me slip-on shoes. Now that winter has started, I was on the lookout for some warm, sturdy, and yet stylish boots.
I do not regret having bought these shoes at all. After having read the reviews, I bought up size up and they are perfect.
Also, delivery was SUPER FAST! I expected to receive them in about 2 weeks but I got them within 3 days.

Comments about Women's Santiago Travel Boots:

Gave these to a friend for Christmas in her usual size. She thought they were great, but they were too small. I sent them back for the next larger size. It took a while, but when the larger pair arrived, they were perfect. Success!

Comments about Women's Santiago Travel Boots:

I ordered a 39 (I wear a size 9 not 8 1/2) and it was so small & narrow that I could not get my foot in it. I sent that size back and ordered a 40 which may have been too small as well but I will not know because that size was out of stock for the year. A 41 might have worked for me but that size was not offered.

Comments about Women's Santiago Travel Boots:

I got these boots in black when National Geographic first had them a couple of years ago and they've recently become my go-to cold weather shoes. They're super comfortable, and the fold-over sweater accent looks great with slim jeans or leggings. They really do stand up to a long day of walking around—I logged 7 miles with them during a day of sightseeing in Montreal a few weekends ago with no complaints.

I have a high instep, and boots can be a tricky fit. These have stretched a bit over time, but I do think they run a little bit snug overall, especially across the top of my foot. If you have similar issues, are between sizes, or want to wear thick socks, I'd consider going up a size.
