Inspired by U.S. Army field watches that remain heirlooms for many servicepeople. A rotating stainless steel diving bezel and tachometer frame a classic face featuring National Geographic's distinctive logo. Not available for shipment outside of the U.S. and Canada.
1 1/2"-diameter, mineral glass face. We recommend having a jeweler replace the battery in this watch. It is intentionally challenging to access the case in order to protect the mechanism and increase its water resistance.

Comments about National Geographic Solar Atomic Field Watch:
Ran well until no power. Then put in sun, ran but was three minutes late. Instuctions from Dakota watch was unintelliginble. Big, fat, clunky non-working. My cellphone keeps better time. And this is the third thing from Natgeo that doesn;t work and why I no longer have anything to do with this company.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Huge Disappoinment

Comments about National Geographic Solar Atomic Field Watch:
This watch was a huge disappointment. It did not ever work. I tried to charge it for several days, turning it over to expose different sides to the light and nothing worked. Also the bezel was nonfunctional, even thought the catalog explicitly says it should be. Save your money. Does the National Geographic do any quality control on its advertised products?
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
