Silk Sari Knit Hat and Scarf Set
Women in a textile workshop in Nepal's Kathmandu Valley take scraps of silk left from the production of saris and weave them into a uniquely textured yarn. Knit or crocheted, they transform what would otherwise be discarded into cozy winter accessories that brighten the dreariest days. This set is decorated with beads and traditional mirrorred disks that are intended to ward off the evil eye.

Machine wash. This fabric will shed when first worn, due to the nature of the recycled silk scraps. Most customers have found that this decreases dramatically after the hat and scarf have been washed.
