This soft leather tote is decorated with swirls and butterflies, as well as bright peacock feathers. Called mayura in Sanskrit, the peacock is found throughout Indian poetry and mythology. The Hindu god Krishna wears a peacock feather, and the god of war Murugan rides a peacock in battle. In the 1960s the peacock was officially designated as the national bird of India.

I just received this order in the mail and am very pleased with it. I absolutely love the colors and design. It is quality leather. It is well made on the inside with a zipper pocket and two other pockets (not to mention the ones on the outside). It is unique and I would not have found one like it where we live.
