Comments about Drives of a Lifetime:
This book is great fun. I knew I would enjoy it, but it took on a more personal feeling after seeing the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and ed. center, located in Piggott Ark., my home town. There are truly places great and small that are featured and would be worth the visit. I hope many will visit Hemingway-Pfeiffer. There is information about Hemingway, who wrote A Farewell to Arms in the house, as well as the life style of a very wealthy family during the depression and all they did to help to people in the community.

Comments about Drives of a Lifetime:
My fiance and I love road-trips, so this book was right up our alley. We've actually done some of the local Colorado trips, and we're looking forward to completing more of the trips, including some of the overseas trips. This is a great resource if you love to explore.

Comments about Drives of a Lifetime:
I am having to invent a way to use. I thought it would at least be regional, so if you were driving around the USA, you could pick some drives along the way. You have to constantly be in the index. If in a country you werent familiar with, good luck using it at all. I am putting this poorly, but not as poorly as this book is layed out, and VERY disappointed
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Drives of a Lifetime:
Lovely book, but hard to use because of glaring omission. Spoiled by not having an overall world or continent map showing locations of all drives. This would help so much with planning holidays etc.
Also references to other drives nearby which could be undertaken would be useful.
Halfway there, with lovely pic etc, but not a great book.
Bought as present for husband and both slightly disappointed :(
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
