Absolutely beautiful and stunning photographs. Love the quotes as well. My favorite images are in the 'Intimacy' section. I also enjoyed seeing pictures that I've seen previously by Lynn Johnson and Annie Griffiths Belts. This would make a great gift for the holidays. Thank you, National Geographic for another wonderful book.

Comments about National Geographic Stunning Photographs:

The photographs are indeed stunning to say the least. I am happy to see a number of stunning images by my favorite photographers such as Frans Lanting, Lynn Johnson, Randy Olson, and others. In addition, every sentence the Editor so beautifully and thoughtfully wrote in the overall Introduction as well as in several other sectional introductions is profound, if not poignant. Quotes by Dorothea Lange, Ansel Adams, Annie Leibovitz, Aristotle, and others reinforced the unparalleled perfection as seen in the book. The Editor's personal story of a Pakistani boy brushing his teeth even after the devastation pierced my heart as well. The mention of John Lennon and Yoko Ono also deeply touched my heart. Overall, it is a must-have book for people of all ages! Kudos to the National Geographic Books!
