She has a bachelor's degree from Florida State University, a Ph.D. from Duke University, and 12 honorary doctorate degrees. She lives in Oakland, California.
Linda K. Glover is a marine scientist and Senior Marine policy Advisor for Conservation International. She co-authored Defying Ocean's End with Sylvia Earle and was the principal author of National Geographic Encyclopedia of Space.
