Rather than carry paper money, some women of northern Thailand’s hill tribes wear their wealth in the form of jewelry. Heirloom pieces are passed down through generations, or melted and made into new pieces for New Year festivals. These jingly white-metal bracelets are inspired by hill-tribe tradition.
Handcrafted in villages in northern Thailand. White metal. Adjustable 7–8"L. Loop and ball clasp.
I waiting for awhile to be able to order them and when I did I couldn't wait for the bracelets to arrive. It was worth it and I just love them. Wear them everyday. Wish I knew how to clean them.
Was this a gift?:
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
From National Geographic:Thank you for sharing your comments. We are delighted to hear that you are enjoying your bracelets. To clean them, you can use any soft cloth such as an old T-shirt or chamois. Or, cloths specifically made for cleaning and polishing jewelry are available at most jewelry stores and lots of places online.
