Comments about Indian Iris Cardigan:
Service and delivery were most satisfactory, but the product was very disappointing. The picture of the Indian Iris Cardigan shows an elegant sweater. but the one I received was as my daughter put it, "Cheap looking." The beaded neckline looked unfinished as it was pieced together with two separate pieces down the front so it didn't have the flowing lines as pictured. Also, the cardigan was 70% bamboo/30% cotton and not the cotton/nylon blend with spandex as described. The picture does show facing at the neckline, but does not say the garment is fully lined. How can you "feel the luxuriously soft cardigan?" It cost $5.84 to return the cardigan and $13.95 postage & handling, and I have nothing except a bad experience.

Comments about Indian Iris Cardigan:
What a beautiful cardigan! It is lined and closes with hooks and eyes, so you can leave it open if you want. Such a beatiful pattern with embroidery and beads. I love it! I plan to carry it on the plane so I will give a nice presentation when I arrive for business. I purchased the beige version.

Comments about Indian Iris Cardigan:
The sleeve length is 3/4 although the description doesn't mention that and the trim is brown. I thought it was black from the photo.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
From National Geographic:Thanks for your feedback. We do mention 3/4-length sleeves in the print catalog, but it's an oversight on our part that the online description was not revised to include that detail. We're fixing it now; thank you for bringing it to our attention.

From National Geographic:Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about this cardigan. We are sorry that it did not live up to your expectations. The version made with bamboo is from previous inventory, which should not have been sent. We subsequently switched to a 100% cotton version, but the bamboo version was not pulled from inventory. We regret the oversight. Our customer service team will be in touch shortly about your return.
