Traditional Indian styling in a vibrant fuchsia pattern and textured lightweight cotton make an excellent travel outfit. The Indian city of Jaipur has been an artistic center since the 18th century and is known as the Pink City because of the stucco that was used to imitate red sandstone. It is in the Pink City that this bright ensemble is made as part of a thriving cottage textile industry. The loose-fitting style is flattering on any woman, and the crinkle fabric makes this ideal for pack-and-go travel. Expand your travel wardrobe by pairing the tunic with jeans or the skirt with a T-shirt.
Please note: The brightness of our Pink City Skirt can vary a little from that pictured due to the moisture in the air when the fabric is dyed. During monsoon seasonroughly June through September in Rajasthanthe colors can turn out a little softer than they do during the winter and spring. We hope that you will accept slight variations as part of the delicate balance of working with handcrafted items and small artisan studios.
Made in India of 100% cotton. Women's sizes S (4-6), M (8-10), L (12), XL (14-16), XXL (18-20).
The fabric is not appropriate for the tightly wrinkled style, as it has been treated with some sort of stiffener. There is so much stiff fabric that the skirt does not drape or swing as it should, and one looks like a balloon
Feels too big
Feels true to size
