The Southern Appalachians region includes a large, rugged area reaching from the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia south to the mountains of the Chattahoochee National Forest in northern Georgia. Included in this map card are maps covering George Washington, Jefferson, Pisgah, Cherokee, Nantahala, and Chattahoochee National Forests, along with Shenandoah and Great Smoky Mountains National Parks. From the terminus of the Appalachian Trail in Georgia, all the way north to near Front Royal, Viriginia, a huge portion of this iconic trail is included in this product.
