National Geographic ''My Town'' TOPO! Map Coasters - Set of 4
For more than 10 years, National Geographic's TOPO! map software has been a top choice for outdoor enthusiasts. Now we're able to use these seamless USGS topographic maps to create home decor featuring maps of your favorite places. Provide any U.S. address and artisans in New England will create a coaster set on cork-backed, rustic tumbled marble-that reproduces a map of your location.
The map will show topographical information covering nine square miles including your chosen location, with some main streets and major landmarks. A small compass rose will indicate your chosen location and the address you provide will be featured on the personalized map legend. See the images above for examples of maps featuring both rural and suburban areas.

Each coaster is 4" square.
Our rustic tiles are carved from large marble blocks, ensuring that no two stones will ever be exactly alike. Then the pieces are tumbled to give them character that can be seen on every surface, edge, and corner. The result is a one-of-a-kind keepsake with more personality that would be possible from a piece of manufactured ceramic. Please see additional images for an example of a tumbled marble tile.

These coasters were gotten for a friend that was retiring, so I used his job location for the address.
When he received the coasters he was just so happy, he commented on the detail of the map and how even his homes location was able to be seen clearly. Needless to say, ordering this gift was right on because it was something he had never seen before.
I didnt wait too long before I ordered myself a set and I too love them.

I bought these for my parents. They pretty much have everything they need, so when I found something that they didn't own but would use, I bought it. I ordered these coasters on a Monday afternoon, and they were delivered on a Wednesday, so first off, the shipping was incredibly fast. Also, the product itself turned out really nice too. I can clearly see on the map where they live on the coasters and the detail is fantastic. I was so impressed that I just ordered another set for another hard-to-shop-for person.

They placed the address in the wrong state. And they did it so zoomed out it was not interesting. This is the 2nd purchase that has not worked out, so good idea but bad execution.

I ordered the ''My Town'' TOPO! Map Coasters as a Christmas present. I wanted to capture a remote location in Northern Michigan, and I wasn't sure how well the coasters would turn out, but they look great! The map is easy to read and I can see exactly where my family's property and lake is located. Outstanding quality and arrived in just under two weeks - much more quickly than I had expected. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who has a vacation home or loves their hometown. Thanks Nat'l Geo!
