This amazing series showcases the strangest, freakiest, weirdest, and just plain "out of this world" behaviors in the animal kingdom. From animals that develop their babies in their mothers back skin; to strange adaptations that enable creatures to survive in extreme environments; to alien-looking body parts and camouflage, this series will cover it all. Each episode focuses on a single environment (land; sea; air).
Episodes include Bizarre Battles, Strange Love, Almost Human and Freaky All-Stars.

How our DVDs and DVD-Rs Differ
Customers who purchase programs in the NG DVD-R Library will receive a non-interactive, play only disc. There is no chaptering information on these DVDs, but there are chapter marks approximately every five minutes, which make it easy to fast forward through a program. The DVD-R format provides the digital video and audio quality you expect from all of our DVDs.
NOTE: The NG DVD-R titles are not closed-captioned. We apologize for any inconvenience this limitation may cause.

Comments about World's Weirdest DVD-R:
I teach at an alternative high school & bought this as a "general interest" video. For that use it is GREAT! But it lacks scientific rigor if that's what you're looking for in a DVD.
More important is that there is NO MENU or NO CHAPTERS -- so in order to get to another section you have to scan. That is simply unacceptable in today's world IMO (thus the 4 star rating).
However, overall I'm happy with this for what I wanted -- an entertaining, fun video that holds the attention of kids here and there as needed.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about World's Weirdest DVD-R:
we're animal lovers and were drawn to the dvd by the photo on the front. it's fascinating and very educational, even for adults. we just wish it was longer and had more animals in it. if it did, then i'd give it five stars.
