Featuring programs from hit series Brain Games, Duck Quacks Don’t Echo, and The Numbers Game, the National Geographic Engage Your Brain Collection combines science and entertaining, interactive experiments and games to reveal the amazing inner-workings of the "crown jewel" of the human body.
While the Emmy-nominated Brain Games sizes up the human brain through mind-boggling experiments, optical illusions, and brainteasers, Duck Quacks Don’t Echo assesses the validity of weird, unusual and over-the-top hypotheses through a series of interactive, original scientific tests. The Numbers Game looks at how science and statistics may hold the keys to a longer, wealthier, calmer life.
Includes all of Brain Games Season 1 (three episodes), The Numbers Game Season 1 (three episodes), and Duck Quacks Don’t Echo (fourteen episodes).
Comments about National Geographic Engage Your Brain DVD Collection:
My husband and I enjoyed these DVD's so much we're having a pizza party with our son and his family tomorrow. I expect my grandson will get a kick out of the home made hovercraft race and other demonstrations on Duck Quacks Don't Echo. I want to see Brain Games again even though I'm already aware of much of the material presented, and presented in a very entertaining way. Even though numbers and I have had issues due to minor learning issues e.g. reversing numbers and operation signs I enjoyed The Numbers Game because, despite my issues with using numbers correctly I do understand and appreciate math concepts and the immense value math has in most human endevors. Excellent stuff National Geographic!
