Comments about Fight Science DVD:
I teach developmental reading at the post-secondary level. I am always interested in videos/readings that address science as my students need to improve their reading skills in that area. This series, had it included all of the episodes, would have been perfect for classroom use. For visual/auditory learners, this is a high interest topic. Pairing it with an appropriate reading would have truly engaged a high number of learners. Unfortunately, the best episode, Stealth Fighting, is not on the DVD. Further, despite a relentless search on my part, which included contacting several NatGeo staff members, I couldn't get an answer as to why this episode was missing. I do see, in another comment, that NatGeo staff apparently couldn't get the producers to include the ep to which I am referring. I think it's a shame that a company that does such good work is not able to make this available. While I did purchase the DVD and can use one of the episodes w/a paired reading, it won't be as effective as the Stealth Fighting ep, which includes parakour and ninja clips. To be frank, my experience trying to access the missing episode(s), for which I would gladly shell out more money, has turned me off of NatGeo a bit. True, the ep is available on - line, but that limits me somewhat and is not ideal.

Comments about Fight Science DVD:
Useful/good product; but misleadingly presented and packaged. Actually bought dvd quite some time ago, and just opened it for family fun and viewing. Agree with comments that desireable episodes left out. Unfortunate. Missing show(s) were excellent. Disappointed.

INCOMPLETE SERIES
Comments about Fight Science DVD:
I bought this DVD because of the episodes on Stealth and the Chinese Animal Style Arts. This DVD has neither. If the producers of Fight Science only wanted to release 3 episodes, then the entire DVD should not have been released until something better was negotiated. How does a show that is a series on a network release a DVD that only has 1/3 of the episodes?! Also, this DVD can be bought from [...] at nearly $10 less. However, I am going to return it because the episodes that compelled me to watch this show aren't even included which lowers teh value of owning it considerably. I am not sure why they allow parts of those episodes to be shown on this site but not on DVD for consumers to purchase. I was going to buy it for 3 other people but I cannot do so knowing this. Highly disappointed.

Where are the rest of the episodes? Some of the most interesting material is missing. Why would NatGeo release an incomplete collection?

Comments about Fight Science DVD:
Seeing the series on TV, I had to gift it to my son, a Martial Arts student for over 15 years, with his own Shaolin(?) Temple and training his own 8 year old son since he was 3. In my humble opinion, this is an important and useful instrument to better understand thebody and the Art of Fight. Thank you.

From National Geographic:Thank you for your feedback. Due to agreements with the producers of Fight Science, these are the only three episodes that we were able to release on DVD. We apologize that our description did not reflect this and are updating it now.
