Eye of the Leopard takes us on an enthralling journey deep into the rarely seen lives of leopards. Award-winning filmmakers Dereck and Beverly Joubert capture a remarkably intimate and gripping story of a leopard's survival in wild, unspoiled Africa over a period of three years.
It's a journey of birth, life and death as a mother leopard and her first surviving cub fight off marauding baboons and elude scavenging hyenas in a constant struggle for survival. Through tragedy and triumph, the Jouberts are there to document it all. Narrated by Jeremy Irons.

Comments about Eye of the Leopard DVD:
I watched and watched the daughter taking care of the baby baboon, I could not help but wonder how these wild animals have such motherly instinct even when so young.

Comments about Eye of the Leopard DVD:
This is by far, the best animal documentary I have ever seen! The Joubert's are the absolute best when it comes to wildlife films. Legadema's story, of a cub growing up against all odds to be the queen that she is will thoroughly captivate you. Do yourself a favour, and buy this DVD NOW!

Comments about Eye of the Leopard DVD:
This Video is one of the best Wildlife Documentaries I have viewed. I have watched it at least 3 times in the last couple of years and I still get emotional each time I see it.
It is a beautiful, sensitive and well documented story of one particular Leopard's life from infancy to adulthood. A must see for all big cat fans...

Comments about Eye of the Leopard DVD:
This is quite possibly the best conceived, filmed, written, edited & narrated big cat documentary ever.
Dereck & Beverly Joubert did an amazing job following this female leopard for three+ years, accumulating an abundance of spectacular footage. Jeremy Irons narrates. Even the BBC would be proud to call this one their own.
The only thing keeping me from buying it is the lack of a blu-ray version. The HD presentation on my DVR will have to do until someone at NatGeo rectifies the situation.
