Our rustic tiles are carved from large marble blocks, ensuring that no two stones will ever be exactly alike. Then the pieces are tumbled to give them character that can be seen on every surface, edge, and corner. wish I could've had the map centered on the coastal feature I wanted to highlight. the ordering routine requires a zip code and name of nearest town; in Alaska, there are hundreds of miles of coastline without a nearby town. the result was the not-so-nearby town was featured, while the bay and glacier I wanted as the focal point was barely captured.

Wonderful coaster set, I have been collecting sets for years and these are by far the best set I have purchased. Made a wonderful gift for my father who is a sailor and he absolutely loves them. The downside was I spent many hours researching nautical charts to ensure I captured a unique coastline with nice detailing wrt the charted waters. Well I found it, and it also happens to be one of my fathers favorite ports along the eastern seaboard, I even matched exactly the size of the map in comparison to the example on the website, the charts were of the same scaling but alas when the coasters showed up the area was considerably smaller than expected, cutting out not only the port but also the most detailed part of the waterway. The way they ask for Zip Code, nearest town and waterway really leaves it up to their interpretation I guess and left me trying to be really exact, I figured they would know what they are doing! Guess not....if only I could have uploaded a picture of what I had in mind.

This was a gift to my Dad, a mariner in his 70s. He loves these custom coasters! The waterways on them are the exactly what I requested. The quality is excellent, and they are a great conversation piece. He isn't one to say much, but he said a lot about these coasters. Very happy with this product!
