Limited Edition Everest World Globe

This mouth-blown glass globe is made by artisans who use a 500-year-old traditional technique to adhere a dual-sided map to its surface. When illuminated, the effect is like stained glass. The base is hand-carved from maple and hornbeam woods from Germany's Black Forest. Months and cardinal directions are inlaid into the base using mother-of-pearl. Finally, a polished brass meridian encircles the globe.
