Our legendary cartographers use a process that combines 17 layers of rich color printing with specially developed materials to create these virtually unbreakable state-of-the-art globes.

With the light off, the globe shows a wealth of political data and 3,500 place names, all printed in the patented National Geographic typeface. With the light on, the physical world is revealed with meticulously hand-drawn mountains, valleys, vegetation zones, and ocean floors.
