Our 50mm Field Telescope is a great beginning scope that’s easy to transport outdoors to take advantage of clear night time viewing conditions. With 23–62X magnification, you’ll be able to focus in on significant astronomical features, like the craters and seas of Earth’s moon, Jupiter’s four moons, and Saturn’s rings. The 26mm and 7.9mm Plössl eyepiece offers a 52° field of view. An achromatic refractor eliminates the colored “auras,” or chromatic aberration, around objects that can occur with cheaper lenses.
Includes a sturdy tripod, smooth movement, and a red dot viewfindera pointing tool that simply superimposes a red dot where the telescope is pointing to help you pinpoint an object.
For ages 10 and up. 46" long; Tripod is 30"X30"( extends to a dimension of 30" across); 46"H maximum tripod height. 3.5 lbs.
