Comments about National Geographic Ultimate Field Guide to Photography:

I bought this book based on the name -- ULTIMATE GUIDE. I was expecting a very advanced tutorial on the techniques used by NG's photographers. There were a few, but the book was primarily a "Photography 101" textbook.

I was expecting to learn the advanced secrets of great wild life photographers. I wanted to learn how to get the perfect shot of a Serengeti Cheetah in a flat-out 70 mph run.

To be fair, there are a lot of great photographs, and it is a well-written quality book. But, it's way more elementary than I was expecting. So, don't buy this book if you are looking an "Ultimate Guide".
