The coastal Tunisian town of Nabeul has been the center of that country’s ceramic industry since the Roman era. Artisans working in a sunny studio near the Mediterranean paint this versatile serving plate and bowl entirely by hand. The pattern is inspired by wrought-iron gates found in the eighth-century medina of Tunis, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Handcrafted in Tunisia. Two-piece set. Platter: approximately 15" diameter. Bowl: approximately 4 1/2" diameter x 2"H.
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
