Stylish and colorful cover up for cool autumn days or nights and all year in air conditioned or poorly heated rooms. I enjoy the dramatic and sophisticated look it adds to my wardrobe while still being soft and cuddly -- and is still great with jeans and leathers. It is good traveling companion (especially on a plane) because it is light weight, washable and can be used as a mini-throw as well as a shawl.

It is elegantly thin. Very generous coverage. Beautiful colors and design, in general. On sale at 50% off I thought it was a fair price, however the craftsmanship seems cheap for the price. I expected finer detail in the design, it is blurry and looks as if it would get fuzzier with use. From NG, and France I expected a higher quality material, finer design details. I may return it, though I love the design and colors in general.

It's a good product but the soft texture makes the material comes off easily if brought on a travel (when taken in/off bag too frequent)

When Kashmiri shawls first came to Europe from India in the 18th century, they were a perfect complement to women’s simple, neoclassic dress styles. A century later, large paisley patterns in neon colors were a hallmark of 1960s fashion. Our hand-printed silk scarf blends these two Western paisley crazes with a traditional pattern rendered in bright hues that evoke stained glass.

Alpaca wool was originally reserved for Inca royalty because of its incredible softness and warmth. Today, a group of native artisans weaves this smooth, ample alpaca shawl using rustic hand looms and the same methods as their ancestors. The flowing, silky macramé fringe is knotted by hand in the tradition of the sophisticated wraps worn by indigenous Bolivian women.

Patola is a form of double-ikat weaving, meaning that both the warp (vertical) and weft (horizontal) threads are dyed before being strung on the loom. This intricate process results in a bold pattern, often on a red background. It is practiced in many parts of Southeast Asia but is a particular specialty of Gujarat, where silk patola saris are often part of a bride’s trousseau.
