      Comments about Humanly Impossible DVD-R:

I had written a "ho-hum" review after watching the first few episodes with one class. However after watching the later episodes, I've changed my rating and overall satisfaction. I WOULD recommend this to any science teacher out there. Maybe health. It is NOT appropriate for Elementary aged kids IMO. Best of luck.

        Comments about Humanly Impossible DVD-R:

I bought this site unseen after getting "Brain Games", which is the best DVD EVER in my opinion. Humanly Impossible is so much like the current trend in shows where they literally take 15 minutes to set up "the topic" when 5 minutes would be fine. It's OK and my students did watch it, however it wasn't able to hold their attention like Brain Games. I just asked my class and they confirmed -- "Yeah, OK, but we've seen all these tricks"

In an extraordinary discovery that made front page headlines around the world, scientists uncovered evidence of a race of "hobbit-sized" prehistoric species on a remote Indonesian island. A full-grown adult would have been as tall as an average four-year old child today. Researchers believe this ancient race lived at the same time as modern humans, sharing the earth for at least 80,000 years. National Geographic delivers the world's first in-depth documentary of this groundbreaking find.
