I bought this for my new son's nursery and I couldn't be more pleased. He is currently 8 weeks old and follows the little rainbow light spots around the room. They calm him when he is fussy and also help him go down for a nap. The light even comes out into our living room when his door is open and it makes me happy instantly. My husband even says that it is the best purchase we have made for him. I'd recommend getting one for yourself and also get a few for gifts. This is the first review I have ever written online but felt that if I could influence someone getting one I should. Even if you don't have kids, it would add a special something to any house. Money well spent!

Remembering "Pollyanna" I was looking forward to rainbows in my sun room. Unfortunately, I was so disappointed that the wheels went around, but the crystals did not turn. There is probably a disconnect somewhere in the mechanism. I still want to see this work as described by some of the reviews, so I have gone on and ordered another one. I hope I can see what others have seen with the next one. I am out $40, but still hoping to see the rainbows.

I previously bought the single version of this item and it does take direct sunlight to operate. I hung this double vers
Ion directly below the single version. The single spins well. The double will turn for 15 seconds then stop

      Comments about Double Rainbowmaker:

I bought one as a gift for my new nephew for his nursery. I love it so much I think I will get one for myself as well, and possibly ones for friends later on. I usually have crystals hanging in the windows for rainbows and they are beautiful, but having them spin and move is that much better! A young child will enjoy the rainbows first, and then watching the gears inside move and finally be interested in the solar power. What a great little device to be all those things at once!

        Comments about Double Rainbowmaker:

I gave this as a gift and they really enjoy it. It is classified as a toy but any age would enjoy it. Easy to stick in a window that gets lots of sunlight as it has suction cups. Not for use on a door window as it could easily fall off when opening or closing the door but a window is fine.

I bought the first on of these for my mother for Christmas. Put it in a window right out of the package and its run any time the sunshines, wonderful item and their dog loves watching the rainbows chasing around the room. This is such a great item that I bought another one to give a friend that will love watching the rainbows in her home as well. I do wish they had put an off switch on it but you can just slip a cover over the solar panel to make it stop if need be.

As a former science teacher I thought this would be the perfect gift for my young grandchildren. I envisioned little rainbows twirling about the room every day the sun shone brightly powering gears to turn the prisms. This occurs, however, only when the sun's DIRECT rays strike the panel. This perfect alignment lasts about as long as an eclipse and is not possible in most houses. This brief, sporadic thrill, where possible, is not worth the price. I am returning all three.

Hammocks have been used in Brazil for centuries, for sleeping and for transporting goods. In the northeast, many people sleep in hammocks every night. Elsewhere, they’re the ultimate symbol of tropical relaxation, especially in a style that’s wide enough for two. This striped, 100% cotton hammock is woven in Ceará, Brazil, in coastal colors, and finished with crocheted accents.

Charleston, South Carolina, is a veritable outdoor ironwork museum, with its pedestrian-friendly streets and a tradition of cast-iron and wrought-iron gates, fences, and balconies that date back to the early 18th century. British styles were the earliest to take hold in the city, but a local style soon evolved and gained national attention, with elements that were influenced by German ironworkers and the neoclassical design that was popular in architecture of the 19th century.

This double-knit, 420 gram-per-square-meter Merino wool cardigan is smooth on the inside and looped on the outside for superior warmth retention and incredible comfort. It’s a perfect outer layer for autumn days, and a great middle layer under a coat. It’s also the right length to cover longer tunics and T-shirts, so you can wear a midweight jacket without inner layers peeking out. And it covers your rear view with tights or leggings, too. Semi-fit with flatlock seams, lined hood, double-slider front zipper, and zippered handwarmer pockets.
